An important component of the Christian home is the children that are brought up to be a blessing to their parents and everyone they come into contact with. The educational, moral and physical well-being of children is important to the happiness of the home and the future happiness of the children that comes from that home. Parents should not allow anything to distract them from the task of growing up their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Success of the home and the future homes in which the children will lead out in is greatly dependent upon the proper training given to them.
Psalms127:1 A Song of degrees for Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh [but] in vain.
127:2 [It is] vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: [for] so he giveth his beloved sleep.
127:3 Lo, children [are] an heritage of the LORD: [and] the fruit of the womb [is his] reward.
127:4 As arrows [are] in the hand of a mighty man; so [are] children of the youth.
127:5 Happy [is] the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
