Updates on happenings with Covenant Advent Church
Published on Tuesday, April 30, 2019
In dealing with each other in any social structure it becomes very clear that different minds want to go in different directions. So the question is how to maintain order and discipline without frustrating the other person. We do this by combining nurture and admonition. To nurture is to care for and encouraging the growth or development of someone. To admonish is to give authoritative counsel or warning. In dealing with children both ideas needs to be combined, for a successful outcome.
Ephesians6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
