As you consider all your goals, hopes and activities for this year, remember to consult with God in prayer and lay your plans before Him. Allow God to direct your path, knowing that He knows what is best for you. By experience I have learnt that God wants better for me than the good that I want for myself. Knowing that God’s thoughts towards me are thoughts of peace, this gives me comfort through all my disappointments, regrets, and troubles. There is good that I now experience in my life that came my way through sad disappointments, in which God had to work hard to bless me, in-spite of me. The year has just begun, so I encourage you to seek the Lord for direction, He will bless.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
