Recognize that your previous life’s experience can be a serious hindrance

Take serious your previous life’s experience when considering making a departure from well-established habits or what is accepted as a societal norm. We are creatures of habits and customs can be hard to break when they are accepted by those we know us or the society at large. Certainly, you have meet someone who states that mango is an acquired taste, while at the same time a slab of rare stake is not an acquired taste for them. The same can be said of a person who is used to worshiping God based upon falsehood (the traditions of men), instead of truth, practical religion is difficult.

Luke 5:39 No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.
